Son of the morning
Dawn of the star
I open gates to the void
Hold high the trident
Bringer of light
Come to me and manifest
The winds of Lucifer carry with me
Promise of lessons for this lifetime
Only wisdom can carry us through pain,
To be killed by me is blasphemy
The third eye opens
Stained with my blood
I pierce the veil,
between worlds
I’m not the only one with visions of a higher being
Not taught to us
Not told to us
The primal essence
Of the Golden Flame
Burns within my cursed blood
Cast into ashes the self-proclaimed
Breathe the air that kills you
Pray yourself to death
Turn against and slaughter
Your own holy men
Feed my own temptation
Drink my blackened blood
Condemn yourself to murder
Rid the earth of holy ones
Through Lucifer I become strong,
And when the weak turn to me,
It will be in terror,
For they dared
To invoke my name
My name
Son of the morning
Dawn of the star
I open the gates to the void
Hold high the trident
Bringer of light
Come to me and manifest
Breathe the air that kills you
Pray yourself to death
Turn against and slaughter
Your own holy men
Feed my own temptation
Drink my blackened blood
condemn yourself to murder
Rid the earth of holy ones

Melodic Black Metal from the U.K. but with a clear frosty feel of the Scandinavian acts. Very nice post-production, giving it that clear and distinct sound, whereby also the drums and bass are heard well, with lots of amazing guitar work, with the throaty vocals on top, with a very consistent performance all along. The album has that sinister, dark vibe, good tempo changes, and the songs are varied, keeping things flowing and interesting! Thank you to all those who took the time to review it! sachavonkarl74

Pleasent surprise to run across this album from my feed. Love the pacing and production. Really impressed. Has an epic, atmospheric black metal vibe that nails it for me.

An ode to the old frozen cold bm of the 90s. Synth hypnotizing, riffs pulverize and the vocals are perfect. Released in April but I'm happy I found it on mourner's collection in November. afcturn_
